Welcome to EpoS Wizard!
Looking for advice on following setup and ICR Touch.
We are looking at replacing our SAM4 SPS2000 machine with the following setup
Panasonic JS925 Epos Terminal
Magnetic Card Reader
Thermal Printer
EC410 Cash Base
ICR Touch software.
Now as far as programming the ICR Touch software goes we have an option to have it programmed for us (at a cost) or do it ourselves. I programmed the SPS2000 myself and this was relatively easy - however having never used ICRTouch or seen it in operation I would like to know how easy it is to program.
Main features we are looking to use is membership card loyalty feature where a member hands over their card - it is swiped and discount applied to sales.
All comments appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Ronnie

ICRTouch is quite straightforward to setup/maintain, but if you are going to spend money on the hardware then the software my advice would be to take advice from the company selling it to you, tell them your requirements then pay them to set it up.
They will know what is possible and be able to advise you as to how to do what you want or maybe a better way of achieving what you want.
After spending a considerable amount of money on the hardware it would be wise to have it set up by a professional to take full advantage of a very powerful piece of software.
Panasonic 925 & ICRTouch is a good combination. We've supplied quite a lot like that ourselves, neither will ever go wrong and icrtouch will do everything you'd ever want
colosuses advice is good though, the whole kit is going to set you back a few quid so best not to scrimp on the last little bit and be sure that it's all setup correctly and works as it should do. You can then take on file maintenance youself later on and save in the future
Good luck with your new purchase xxx
Thanks for the replies folks. It defo looks like we will be going down the ICR Touch route. Do you know if IRC Touch has the ability of having a "Training mode" whereby you can sign-on - make sales etc but not affect stock totals / balances etc.
