I cannot progress a demonstration I am trying for tomorrow and just hoping someone has a quick answer - all the support desks are closed for the weekend!
I have the latest download of the ICRtouch demo and the a4_receipt etal demo.
The base ICRtouch demo works fine within its normal plu limits etc and the etal a4_receipt is visible and configurable through the programming menu.
But no matter what I try I cannot get an output !.
The config seems to be set for output Cutepdfwriter - i have that - no joy.
Tried defining every other version of printer I could think of - no joy !
How do i define the "printer" (real or pdf)so that i can do the demonstration with a totally demo system
Or - or do i have to do the demonstration on my live system with only the a4_receipt facility as a demo.
It would be great if i could point it a USB connected printer but the pdf writer would serve as well at this stage !
That will only work with a DEMO license so not on your live system. Last time I looked at it, I seem to remember that it brings up a preview and then prints to the default windows printer, (I think)
Thanks - I twigged eventually that all had to be demo - I had rather expected a demo additional function to sort of work on an installed licenced system but...
bit late now i know probably. but they charge extra for the a4 printing stuff and they also help modify to work for you at the same time which is why it works on demo, if you speak to your dealer they should be able to help you organise it. we've supplied it to some cash and carry customers and even a firm that sell windows! hope that helps x
