Hi,
Just downloaded the ICR touch Demo and have installed on a ATOM based PC ruuning Win7 connected to a Serial Epson TM88IV printer on COM1 with a 24v cash drawer attached via the printer.

Does ICR Touch use Windows or OPOS drivers or drive it's own printers / cash drawers etc.

Problem I have is that whilst receipt printing fine, I cannot get the drawer to kick, despite the settings in Program 3 being set to Cash Drawer on Receipt printer.

If I install the Epson OPOS driver kit and define the printer and cash drawer all works fine and the drawer kicks.

Any suggestions - Is it just that DK is disabled in the demo version - I don't want to spend the money on the program if it won't work with my hardware setup. With the ICR forum being dealer only, it's hard to find much information

Thanks
DaveB.

as you will be purchasing the software from your local dealer, why not ask him the question?
just a thought - [im not sure that the d/k is disabled on a demo copy]
I assume that you have allocated clerks to the drawer?

The cash drawer flag needs to be set to the device on whichever com port you're TMT88 is connected to.
If it then doesn't kick it's probably the fact it's in demo mode.

Thanks guys - Drawer kick is disabled in the Demo version, along with a limit of 25 PLU's and not recording sales data. Makes sense otherwise people would just use it for free I guess.

Just purchased from an ICR dealer who is going to do the basic install and setup for me.
