I think it would help if you actually explained more about what you are trying to achieve and what EPoS software package you are using.

These DVDRs I have are thermal, and going against using stick-on labels because they suck I was looking into getting a thermal printer for these.. but I know nothing about it.

Anyone have any experience in this area? Would a thermal printer be the best, or just a printer that can do DVDs?

Thermal printers are rubbish for things like that. your best of using CD labels on a sheet and then printing them on a laser or an inkjet x
