Hi
I got a till Geller sx-595 and I cannot add more items etc. I want to fully reset the machine to new so I can build up the inventory as I sell items. Can you help me?

Also a full programming manual would be useful too for future use.

Please note that the other geller/towa sx range is roughly similar like sx-590,690,695,585,580 etc etc so any help from people with those machines is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

You probably need software for this. If you have David software just create a new file and send blank plus to the till.
The only other way is a system reset but you will lose all settings or revert to defaults when you do this and will need to program every thing back in, system flags, keyboard, operators, departments etc etc

You could bring into a dealer..

Hi
Firstly, thank you for replying.

Unfortunately I do not have the David Software and I don't think I am skilled enough to use it anyway so it would be a waste of money.

Please can you tell me how to do a system reset and then program the things I actually need?

Also I cannot ask my dealer because he is simply a con artist, I have asked multiple times for him to fix it but he just takes the till and returns it in the same condition. He won't even offer a different model.

Anyway please can you tell me how to do a system reset?

Thank you

• Turn off the power at the mains (Or side switch)
• Turn the key to the ‘P’ position with the ‘MA’ Key

Hold down the ‘CLR’ key and power on the ECR.
Release the ‘CLR’ key after 10 Seconds. The message ‘SYSTEM CLEAR’ will appear on the display. The ECRs memory has now been RAM CLEARED

Thanks for the quick reply, I just want to confirm that this will delete absolutely everything?
