I am having a problem with my register. Once i put paper into the receipt feeder, it just keeps feeding, and will not stop. I have tried turning off the receipt, restarting the register, but still keeps happening.
My guess its either a sensor or a software issue, but hoping someone can help as its now out of service. Print error is coming up if i try to x/z read, or process sale..
That model has separate thermal printer for both receipt and audit rolls and these can give trouble. Is the receipt side only causing a problem or both printers? If receipt side only then I would try replacing the printer (printers are interchangable)
They are relatively inexpensive.
If you can pursuade a dealer to sell you the printer maybe you could do the job yourself
