Hello

Just got a new epos terminal this week as the last terminal died, running GPOS build 156, was on Windows 2009 Embedded POS, Now on windows 7 embedded pos, randomly the red error box appears "1001 system erial error (2)" do I need an updated version or is it something else, have disabled UAC and Windows update and I am running GPOs as Administrator, any suggestions any one.

Thanks

Adrian

I would imagine what has happened is, all of your GPos data has been transferred onto a new drive without the licence being removed from the old one beforehand. You'd probably need to get hold of the old drive for the serial number to have this reactivated by either a dealer or Fidelity. :)
