Hi,

I've got a metrologic voyager ms9500 which I used to use with my till (until the till was stolen!). Now that all I am left with is the scanner I would like to be able to use in on my laptop. I have a USB serial connector RS232 and I get the usual beep when I scan something but nothing appears on the screen. I should imagine I need some drivers or I need to scan a setup sheet of barcodes.

Can someone point me in the right direction, thank you.

If the scanner (itself) is RS232 then you will need some sort of software to make that work. I haven't looked but mayb you can find some software that does RS232 to KB ?
