Hi, I have been doing some price changes and renaming of clerks and somehow I've changed something and now the cash drawer wont open after we have subtotalled a sale. It will only open when press credit. I have searched here and found one answer but it wouldn't work for me. It said to turn the key to program mode press 0 then cash then subtotal but this just beeped at me and proceded to print out masses of stuff with PGMX on the screen( I figured out how to stop this) but its still not working. Can anyone help?

Many thanks

Stacey

Hi. 0 Cash SUBTOTAL was correct to remove the preset that you have accidentally programmed to the cash button. PGMX means you have printed a program report. this tells me that you have pressed SUBTOTAL twice in a row. Don't do that. Just turn to PGM mode, then 0 CASH SUBTOTAL.

No, still not working. I think the cash button needs re allocated, I've managed to change its allocation. It doesn't know it's a cash key.

Yay i figured it out! I had removed the cash button so it was

Key to program
4 subtotal
1 cash
Subtotal

And now it works!! Thankyou for your help! Found the answer on here after all once I knew what was actually wrong! Thanks for this forum it is fab!
