At some time ago I made the mistake of rebooting and changed the IP address to 2, now I found out that is the reason my inventory is counting up and not down. I have tried everything, done a reboot, changed the IP address and saved it to CF Card. Then rebooted with CF reloading the saved settings but the IP address changes back to 2. I do NOT get the IP address number setup screen when doing the Factory reboot. We have only one cash register and I would like to get my inventory counting down.
Can someone help.
Thank you
Siggi

absolutely none of that makes sense !dunce

inventory counting up not down? are you sure its not just gone past zero and the numbers are minus?
or are you looking at accumulative daily sales - obviously the more you sell the n the number sold increases?

in terms of ip address im totally lost - as long as its in the right range and the subnet mask is right - then comms should happen

your ip address CANNOT be 1 or 2 lB the format for ip is 192.168.1.1
or 192.168.0.2

please be more specific with your issues

Andy, You are correct with the IP address to be 192.168.0.1 I just skipped the preceding numbers.
As to the inventory counting up it is correct, the Master terminal IP has to be the 192.168.0.1 and it will count the inventory from high down.
The Slave terminal with IP number 192.168.0.2 and higher are reporting to the master terminal with a increasing number.
And my terminal is a stand alone terminal but set as IP 192.168.0.2 and I can not set it back to the Master IP.

By default Casio's IP addressing jumps from 192.168.0.1 for the Master to 192.168.0 50 for the Second terminal.
To check these or change these you will want to go into the "System Connection"

Mode<PGM3><Machine Feature><System Connection>

You would want to update the IP address information in all machines and then do a "System Reconfiguration" in Manager mode.

Thank You for the help, Casio Help
I will check your suggestion tomorrow. I only have one Master Terminal and don't need the Second terminal IP.
