Okay, I have a TE 2400 register, and have gotten paper, put the batteries in, and cleared an error that was there. That from the manual, actually worked. I have encountered what may be several problems.

1. In "Reg" mode, amount reads "0" instead of "0.00" as stated in the manual

2. Cannot open register with "NS" button. The manual says during transaction to hit that button, to open
drawer. Do I need to do something first to do that when no sale is in progress? Also, nothing has yet
been programmed.

3. I tried to program date and time, but do not know if there is a way to verify that it is in. Will that reading
in #2 be a factor to a problem? Also, am I correct that the number at the beginning of a programming
sequence is from the number keypad and not the department keys?

4. How do I set up all sales for no tax? (This is for a church doing a tax exempt sale.) I have no idea of
what does and doesn't need to be programmed. All I want to do is a simple PLU key for each item,
and the ability to program in simple discounts as either flat rate, or per item. That is, a flat rate
could be entered once in the beginning that would apply to all items in the sale, or per item for an
item that may be put on sale say at the end of the event.

5. I'm trying to find a copy of the CV22 software, is there anyone who would be willing to send it to me?
If so, I'll PM you with my email address. I would be really grateful if you could. Is programming with the software easier than on the register itself, because I can't make heads nor tales (?tails?) of how to do the programming on the register. Thanks.

Amendment to first post: Software (CV22) is no longer needed, thanks.
