Hi guys,
Not sure if this is easy to explain and get answers but here goes!
My staff sign on, then open a table, add on the drinks/food etc then press sign off which seems to hold the table.
They can then cash in the amount. However, the open table still shows that table as being open. I have put a button there which is a cancel button, it comes up saying 'cancel okay' but the amount of money taken doesn't go into the X/Z Report. It's as though I need to add a close table button or something, or when pressing CASH it closes the table completely.
Can anyone offer any advice. I'm guessing it'll be something simple but I cannot work it out at all!!

Any clues at all guys? Living in the past using order books at the minute which is driving me mad, and I can't work this one out at all!

Hi Phil,
The NEW BALANCE button normally saves a table. To finish a table, you hit CASH or other payment type while the table is open. This should reset the table back to zero balance.
I can't help with programming this because I avoid QT6 series like the plague due to their difficulty in programming and poor error cods. I was around them during their early days and support was poor. The software was not easy to use and the machine had to have bit settings (yuck) for some functions. It has probably improved a lot now but we moved on to other models.
