Dear all,

I would have question about my QT6000.

Before I played with the settings, I was able to find the network CQ6KNG on my laptop. But no it has gone and I cant get it back working. Would anyone have an idea which option I need to reinstate?

Thank you all for your help.

Before I played with the settings

What settings did you "play" with?

I was able to find the network CQ6KNG on my laptop

Was this the SSID of an access point you were connecting the laptop to or were you using an ad hoc connection - connecting to the terminal directly without an access point?

I did press the red button on the back and restarted the till. Then I loaded the backup on the CF card. I really cant remember what i did wrong......

I saw the network in the list of available networks where i would have been able to connect to. now it has gone...

SSID or ad-hoc?? Oh gosh.. I really dont know.. sorry..

Its set in the till to CQ6KNG and the WEP key is 434348524432303034000000000

There was a wireless router next to it, but it wasnt connected i think..but cant remember... hasnt the qt6000 automatically wireless lan integrated?
So my idea is to connect via my laptop to the till to programm it......

But really appreciate your help on this.

Best

No, wireless connectivity is not standard on the QT6000 it requires a wireless card which is fitted in the PCMCIA slot next to the CF card slot at the back of the machine.
Can you confirm you have a wireless card fitted?
