QT-6000 and UKServer
Good morning all you experts can you help me with this.
A QT-6000 that was speaking to UKServer has now stopped working. As far as I know no changes have been made on the till but getting E111
"PC server down or communications error". UkServer looks ok when it is running and the IP addresses are correct. I can ping the till and the utility (CV33) runs fine. Comms in both directions. I have flag init the till. Any ideas.

Hi Folks I see 17 of you have looked, nobody with any ideas??

I don't know much about Casios (thankfully!).
However, it does sound like a network problem. Has anything new been added to the network, including wifi, that could have either been preset with the same IP address as either the till and the software, or something that could be switched on first and is grabbing one of the fixed IPs.
CCTV installers seem to be the worst for this. They see no problem with unplugging anything and everything just so the cameras work and to hell with everything else.
Thank you for the reply Porty. Unfortunately it is not a network problem as the till programming utility woks perfectly and I can ping the tills IP address.
Does anybody know where the flags/settings are on the QT-6000 for this type of communications and their names. I don't see why they should have been changed but something has.

John,
It sounds like you have a back up loaded on your CV33 program. Please do a backup to the CF card also.
Next:
Remove that CF card.
Reinitialize the machine.
Is there a way you can check connectivity before you restore the backup?
Restore backup.
Try it...
Always do a backup to a "Compact Flash" CF Card before making any changes to your Casio Device
