I've keyed in all the relevant names for the clerks by going into PGM mode and then "2" etc.
So clerk No. 1 looks like "JoeC01", clerk No. 2 looks like "TomC02" and clerk No. 3 looks like "JaneC03" etc.

Ok I've done all that but when I go into "reg" mode I cannot key in "2" then "CLK#" etc as the register just beeps at me (its the same for any other clerk number). The only way that the register will work is if i just press "CLK#" and then the clerk becomes "JoeC01".

What the heck am I doing wrong or perhaps is there something I have missed.
Do clerks need to be assigned to PLU's etc?

Help.......

Did you log the clerk off first?
