1. Turn key to PGM
2. Enter HHMM and press X/TIME
3. Press C to clear screen
4. Enter YYMMDD and press X/TIME
5. Press C to clear screen
6. Turn back to reg

Nice one i will try it. Reason is my till seems to be jumping dates. For example, the date yesterday was 5/12 but the date on the receipts throughout the night say 6/12 . then the journal roll ran out so I turned the key to off and changed the roll. This was prior 12AM . Its for a pub so we run end of day report obviously after 12AM after last customer leaves. Then the date on the report shows up as for the 7/12. LOL . So my figures are 2 days ahead

Quick question about back up battery. As long as their is power to the till via the AC . I can still go ahead change the batteries if the till display shows 'L' and it wont loose all my item names /prices . So as I am changing the batteries the till will stil get power from the mains even in off mode ?

Changing the battery...

There is one battery connected to the main board so you will need to leave the till on whilst changing it, so be careful. The battery is attached to cables connecting it to the main board but the connector on the main board disconnects. So you will need to solder these cables to the new battery. I would also leave it in Reg mode.

Once changed make sure you leave the till on so the new battery can be fully charged.

date/time change work perfect. many thanks.

I see , I had thought the batteries were a simple double AA change over . Obviously not, so I think if it aint broke , I wont touch it . LOL
