Error 003 with all keys on Qt 6600

Hi everyone,

I'm french so i'm sorry if my english isn't perfect.
I have a big trouble with my 6600:
since one week, she doesn't accept any clerk key and stay staying "error 003: wrong key" !
I can't touch anything on the screen exept "escape" but nothing else.
I tried to reboot from many manners but nothing work, I keep this error message...

Sorry if it's not totally clear but please help me !

Hi, are you sure the message is E003 Wrong Key, my manual says E003 Wrong Operator. If this is the case can you explain how your till was configured for sign-on. 1) enter number and press Clerk# key, 2) press Clerk# key and get a list of clerks to select from, or some other approach.

It may be that you have lost or corrupted your Clerk key, are you using any back office software?

The FLAG CLEAR procedure will clear the QT-6000 out of virtually any locked condition. It is also necessary to do any time I/O PARAMETERS are changed. If you are in the middle of a transaction, that part of the transaction will be lost, but all stored sales or guest checks will be protected

Turn off your QT6600 terminal.
Press and hold the Display button on the front of the terminal.
Keep holding this Display button down AS you turn the power switch back on.
Release the Display button a few seconds AFTER turning the power switch on.

This is the very first thing I would try with any error code.
