does anyone know how to connect a metrologic honeywell orbit ms-7120 barcode scanner to a casio se-s300 cash register.

The scanner came with an rs232 cable i do know it goes into the com port on the register but i dont know what to do from there i cant get help from anywhere.

can anyone help me please
