Hello alltogether,

today i got a Casio CE-T300 cash register.
When i powered it up the first time, the display only said "FFFFFFFFFF", by pressing any key, the error "E004" apeared.
The user manual gives the hint to unlock the device by turning it on with pressed paperfeed and then pressing subtotal. That worked, it printed a intialization report.
Now no error is shown, but i can do nothing with the cash register.

I tried to setup date and time:
Turned the key to PRM,
pressed 1, -> display says "1"
pressed Subtotal, -> beep, display stills says "1"
entered 121122, -> display is now "1121122"
presed X/TimeDate, -> beep, display remains "1121122"
pressed c -> display "0"

Then i tried to let it show date and time in REG1:
pressed "X/TimeDate" ->beep
nothing happens.

I is not even possible to print anything. I entered 2, pressed Subtotal, nothing.

Can someone please tell me how to use it and how to set it up properly?

I already have the User Manual and the Programming Manual but it does not really help.
I have no experience with such machines. It is for a school to let the children play a bit, but if it does not work it is useless.

Thank you so much for your help 🙂

Tom

Hi. Can you tell me what the number was at the bottom of the copyright message that printed when you pressed SUBTOTAL after the "FFFFFFFFFF" situation?
It may have FC in front of the number.

I got it working now!!

I powered on the machine with pressed "Journal Feed" button und turned the mode switch to PGM.
After releasing "Journal Feed", the Display shows "0000000000".
Now i entered "00000000011501" and pressed "Subtotal".

It is possible to use it now :-).

I would like to change programming a bit. Would anyone please be so kind to send me the CV22 Software?!
