I had program the my casio te-2200 long time ago, forgot how i done it. now i need to change my second line in description message "vat number" i go though manual; pgm > 2 subtotal > 0232 subtotal(address line for vat) > replace vat 12345678 new number > press sub total twice till scree shows PGMX printout whole lot of things and than at the end vat number stays old vat number. (it doesnt register new vat number)

You were close 
You need to press CASH after you've entered the characters and then ST to finish. Be careful to make sure you enter the address code first as you have been or you'll end up changing the name of the CASH key itself. Oh if I had £1 for every time I'd seen that!

this procedure did not work rather what worked after I rang local till company they told me follow same procedure untill new vat number than 00 button than cash/tend than Subtotal. Why is it different than what it says in manual? Is it because people program till add this to till so customer can't re-program it themselves?
