casio SE3000 - Department 2 changing to Condiment?

Hi there, would be grateful if anyone knows a fix for this. I had assigned number 1 for wool, number 2 for haberdashery as departments. Now, if I enter the price manually instead of with barcode scanner, "condiment" appears instead of department 2 and will not allow me to carry on with the transaction
