HI Folks
I'm considering buying a SE-300, and have downloaded the CV11 programming software. What cable is required to connect the Till to my PC ? Is it a standard serial cable, or is there something 'magic' about the official cable ?

I want to be able to upload a graphic to print on the receipts, and to program the department keys without having to do the 'multiple keypress' thing on the till (which drove me up the wall with our current Olympia 812!)

Is it easy to program € (euro) symbol rather than £ ? - we're in Ireland.

Thanks
Adrian

No magic required. This one works perfectly:

Ah - thanks - good to know that....

Do you happen to know about programming the € (Euro) symbol -
can that be done from the till keyboard and/or via the CV11 software -
or is it a dealer-only thing ?

Thanks
Adrian

I've never had to change my default currency but I can't believe it's not in the user guide somewhere. I also use CV10, not CV11. Don't know much about the difference there. I'll have a look later...

HI

Thanks!
I expect it is in the User Guide - probably going to purchase the till at the start of next week,
and then I can find out for myself <g> - but didn't want to turn down the 'paid for' configuration
only to find out that there was a 'gotcha' and I wasn't able to program the Euro symbol myself..
Thanks again for your help
Adrian
