Hi I am about at my wits end with this till. I am a relief manager in a pub and this is the till I inherited. I can many price changes and desriptors etc, but I need to put food on this Tuesday so need to change the menu on the till. My big problem is that when I go into mode I have PGM 1, 2, 3 and 6, but 4 & 5 are not there, I am unable to do what is needed without these PGM buttons and functions, how on earth do I get them back? Once I have them I can figure the rest as I have access to both the user and prog manuals. I would be very grateful for any advice, as time is running out and I can see me adding things up on a bit of paper which is not a good look

You don't have the security privilege to do it. Do a clerk code reading in pgm6 to find the other codes and see if you have access to PGM4 etc with them

Thank you for your reply. I have two manager keys unless the previous tenants have removed the crucial one.... Will try that and see what I can find out. I am now considering a factory reset and starting from scratch as the whole till is so badly organised. I think trying to sort it out from the point might be more work than starting from scratch. On that subject how do you perform a factory reset?

If you start from scratch you have to set up taxes, logo, the system options etc... If you're into doing that then go for it. I try to avoid going from scratch as much as I can... I'm not as familiar with Casio as I am with Sharp/Uniwell but it might be easier to delete your PLU's and clear your screen of the PLU's but keep the backbone there.

If you can get into PGM3, then you should be able to give yourself permissions to get into PGM4 and 5...
Go to MODE <PGM3> < Clerk> <Clerk Operation> <Mode Control> and set your permissions... Change from NO to YES.. BE CAREFUL!!!! Changing anything in PGM5 will erase everything in that memory allotment!!! Do a back up to a CF card first.

Are you in the States?
