What's the exact Make / Model of the till and at what point does this message appear?
Also what is the exact message on the display?

Hi,
I know this is a late reply, and you probably have it sorted, but I thought I'd let everyone else know. Ferr26 is a serious microcomputer error. It can be as simple as a faulty battery ( e.g TE-8000 models) in which case leave the batt unplugged, and mains off for a couple of hours, then reset machine, and plug (new) batt in. If it is the TK-6000/ 7000, then it is usually main board failure. The common cause is a mouse living inside. They urinate on the board and wreck it.
